California Sheepburr (Acaena pinnatifida var. californica) is a native perennial herb that grows in Northern, Southern and Central California, primarily in the North Coast, the Central Coast and SF Bay regions. It tends to grow in open grassy places and rocky slopes, at elevations from 200-1300 feet.
